Starting or continuing your faith journey in a new place can be challenging. You don't have to do it alone! Equip pairs you (and another young adult if you want) with a supportive member of our church for bi-weekly Bible studies, authentic conversations, and genuine friendships to encourage and support your growth.
What’s involved?
Meeting regularly (at least bi-weekly, or more/less if you’d like!).
Explore the Bible through Discovery Bible Studies and questions of faith you may have.
Build meaningful connections across the church community.
Our aim is that you develop in your relationship with God, mature as a disciple and grow in confidence of the gospel.

Equip exists to disciple new students through Bible studies and fellowship with members of our church. When students arrive in late September, we’ll have this structure in place to support their spiritual growth, ideally pairing you with one or two students.
Your role would involve meeting consistently (at least fortnightlyor more, if you and the students prefer) to read the Bible and discuss faith together. There’s no rigid program as we want discussions to be scripture-led, but you will receive training, and Ben Coleman is always available for guidance or resource suggestions.

Church Family,
We are so excited about an upcoming Students & 18-25s Weekend Away from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November 2025! This is an event for 31 of our young adults, offering the opportunity to unplug from the pressures of studies and work, build deep community, and grow significantly in their faith.
Many of our students are on tight budgets, and the full cost of the weekend is around £90 per person. Our heart is to make this experience accessible to as many as possible. To do that, we are hoping to bring the cost down for each student to an affordable £60-£70.
This is where we need your help.
Your gift does more than just cover a cost; it will enable a student to:
Grow Spiritually: They will engage in worship, prayer, and Bible studies designed to equip and inspire them to go back to their campuses and workplaces ready to make a difference.
Connect in Community: This trip is where lifelong friendships are forged! They'll bond over fun activities like Mario Kart tournaments and a murder mystery night, sharing meals and life together.
Find Rest and Reflection: They'll have the chance to find space to hear from God away from the daily grind.
How You Can Help:
Sponsor a Student: £30
Sponsor a Half Student: £15
Sponsor two Students: £60
Thank you for your generosity and partnering with us in this ministry.
