pastoral Support

NCC 251_1500X1000.jpg

We want to be a community that loves and cares for one another, celebrating each other’s successes and supporting each other in difficult times. We believe that leaders have a responsibility to create environments where community can flourish, but that everyone, along with the leaders, has a responsibility to love, care for and support one another.

Within our church, we encourage everyone to join a small community (Hub). This is where we can build relationships and have opportunities to support each other.

During times when extra care and support is needed, additional services are available, please see below for details or email pastoral@newcommunity.org.uk

Prayer ministry

Praying for each other is an essential way we can show care and support and invite God to minister into someone’s situation. We encourage this throughout the life of the church. Prayer ministry is available on a Sunday morning at the end of the service. This is an opportunity for you to receive prayer from someone on the prayer ministry team.

Pastoral oversight team

The Pastoral Oversight team meets regularly with the purpose of overseeing pastoral care within the church for those who may need additional support and to help equip the church to be a community that loves and cares for each other.
